General Property Owner Information
• Register for auto draft from your bank account by submitting the direct payment authorization form to accounting
• Add Member Services to your contacts in your phone. You can call or text 843.580.8542 during office hours
• Download the Club’s app
• Upload your Member photo
• Bring your Membership card with you each time you visit The Beach Club, The Sports Pavilion, or Marsh House. Your Membership card is on the Club app and a hard card is available through Member Services
• Adhere your vehicle decals to your car headlamp or windshield. Additional decals are $15 each and available through Member Services
• Make note of the Member gate code - 5421
• Dress Code: Casual golf and sports attire is acceptable for dining. Collared shirts are required for men at dinner. Cut-offs, rips or tears in denim, flip flops, t-shirts, athletic attire, swimwear, and cover-ups are not acceptable for Club dining. Gentlemen are required to remove their hat when inside the clubhouse
• All charges will go to your Member account except for required cash tips for caddies. No cash tipping except for caddies
• Gratuity is included on all food and beverage, transportation, and spa services. Caddie fees are inclusive of partial gratuity. A cash tip is required ($30 per person for a caddie and $25 per person for a forecaddie)
• Member Mingle is held the first Thursday of each month and is a great way to meet new people. The Mingle includes complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Visit the Club website or mobile app for the location
• Make reservations for dining, special events, and holidays in advance of your arrival. For special events you may reservation generally up to 60 days in advance and regular dining up to six months in advance
• When using a Club facility, mention to our team that you are a new Member. We want to welcome you!
• Shop! Enjoy 20% off all Club merchandise when the charge is placed on your Member account. Consignment, spa, and salon services are not included
• Access the Club website at members.kiawahislandclub.com using your Member number and last name as the login credentials. Here you can view the Member directory, your statement, calendar of events, news, tee time requests, dining, sporting, and spa reservations, and more
• Keep your smart phone on silent when at any of our Club facilities. No phone calls are to be made when inside the clubhouse

Dress Code Policy
Dining Dress Code Policy
Cassique | The Beach Club | River Room | Tom's Kitchen | Marsh House | The Living Room
- Casual attire is appropriate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Collared shirts are required for men at dinner.
- Swimwear, tank tops, and plain t-shirts are not acceptable in any clubhouse. Coverups are permitted at The Beach Club and Marsh House only.
- Denim is permissible at all Club facilities. Denim must be without tears, frays, holes, patches, slits, etc.
- Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times while inside any Club facility.
- Spiked golf shoes are not permitted to be worn in any Clubhouse or facility.
- Ladies are permitted to wear hats. Men must remove hats in all clubhouses at any time.
Sports Dress Code Policy

- GOLF: Collared shirts, golf shorts (no more than four inches above the knee), slacks, skirts, and blouses are acceptable; soft spikes only.
- TENNIS: Proper tennis attire and regulation tennis shoes are required.
Golf Policy
Online Tee Time Tips and Tricks
• The Club website and app will only accept tee times within the regular reservation schedule (7 days for Golf Member and 4 days for Sports Member).
• For advanced tee times (2/quarter/membership) please call the golf shops inside 90 days of your desired date of play and ensure all the information for the group must be presented at the time of booking (843.768.5715 River Course and 843.768. 5752 Cassique).
• The online system will allow a Member to make one (1) tee time per day under his/her name.
• A Member can host up to (7) guests after 9:30 a.m. but this must be booked through the golf shop.
• Members must insert names of all players in the online system no later than seventy-two (72) hours in advance of play. Failure to do so will result in the slots without an assigned names being made available for use by other Members.
• Incomplete groups are subject to pairing by the golf shop to maximize availability
• Excessive cancelling of tee times outside of extenuating circumstances/weather could result in the loss of tee time privileges.
Caddies
All caddie fees (Members and guests) include partial gratuity. Members and guests are required to pay a minimum of $30 per person for a carry caddie and $25 per person for a forecaddie. Prior to 3:00 p.m., Caddies/Forecaddies will be required for each guest when there are more guests than members in the group. All Unaccompanied Guest play will require caddies/forecaddies.
Tee Times
A starting time may be booked by a sponsored guest no more than 48 hours in advance by calling the respective course: Cassique, 843.768.5752 or River Course, 843.768.5715.
Tipping
The sponsoring Member's account number will be used for all purchases, including dining. A gratuity will be automatically included for all wait staff and spa attendants/therapists and will be billed directly to the Membership account. For caddies, Members and guests are required to pay a minimum of $30 per person for a carry caddie and $25 per person for a forecaddie.

Cell Phone Policy
The Kiawah Island Club allows limited use of smartphones for the purpose of email, internet access, text messaging, video/camera, and multimedia only. Smartphones may not be used to make or receive phone calls at any Club facility. Telephones are available at all Club facilities or you may make a call in the Club venue's parking area. We ask that you, family members, and guests keep your smartphone on silent/vibrate mode while on Club premises.
Guest Policy
All guests shall be designated as either Accompanied Guests or Sponsored Guests. A Sponsored Guest is defined as a Member's guest who is not accompanied by the Member. All other guests of a Member shall be Accompanied Guests.
Accompanied Guests and Sponsored Guests may not use the Club's recreational facilities more than two (2) times a month not to exceed six (6) times per Membership year, exclusive of Member/guest events and other tournament play organized by the Club.
Extended Family Sponsored Guest(s)
Accompanied Guests and Sponsored Guests may not use the Club's recreational facilities more than two (2) times a month not to exceed six (6) times per Membership year, exclusive of Member/guest events and other tournament play organized by the Club.
Extended Family Sponsored Guest(s)
- Comprised of adult children, daughters/son-in-laws, grandchildren, and parents.
- Members are allowed to sponsor a maximum of four (4) guests for four (4) days.
- Not permitted to utilize The Sports Pavilion before 11:00 a.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day or seven days surrounding the following major holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
- Facility usage fee is $15.00 per guest, per day at The Beach Club, Marsh House, and The Sports Pavilion. The fee is $35.00 per guest at The Beach Club Friday through Sunday and during major holidays.
Non-Family Sponsored Guest(s)
- Members are allowed to sponsor a maximum of four (4) guests for two (2) days.
- NOT permitted to utilize the Club on weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) or seven days surrounding the following major holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
- Access to Marsh House, The Beach Club beach, locker rooms, and pool are NOT permitted Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- NOT permitted to utilize The Sports Pavilion before 11:00 a.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- Facility usage fee is $15.00 per guest, per day at The Beach Club, Marsh House, and The Sports Pavilion. The fee is $35.00 per guest at The Beach Club Friday through Sunday and during major holidays.
Guest cards are to be picked up by the Member or guest, from Member Services, located on the second floor of the River Course Clubhouse at 10 River Course Lane. Their office is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Included with the guest cards, you will find several policy reminders, helpful phone numbers, and the current month's Club Calendar of events.

Vehicle Decals
To request a vehicle decal please complete the form linked below. The Club decal will allow vehicle access through all Club gates as well as the KICA Gates on the Island. The Club decal will not allow access through Rhett's Bluff. Property owners without Club privileges will not be granted access to Club gates through their new RFID decal.
Each Club decal is $15 and will be charged to your Member account. Please allow at least 48 hours for the Member Services team to process your decal request.

How to Make a Payment
As a convenience to you, Kiawah Island Club offers the option of Direct Payment (ACH Debits/Bank Auto Draft) for your monthly statement. This option allows you to make payments to the Club using a checking or savings account. If you choose not to use auto draft, you may make a one-time payment by visiting the Member website, Member Home, One-Time Payment.
Downloading the Club App
To download the Club app, visit the Apple or Google Play Store and search Kiawah Island Club. The icon is white with our Club logo in the center of the icon.
Once you download, please enter your username and password provided by the Membership office. On the app you will have the ability to make reservations for dining, lodging, racquet sports, golf, boating, and more. You can also view your statement, the Member roster, hours of operation, directions, the Club calendar, and much more.
